Going Below the White Line - Simple Rules:
Most Tracks (Not Super Speedways):
-
If you go below the white line, you must get back on track safely
-
Don't block or hit other drivers when rejoining
-
No passing below the white line - EXCEPT on the final lap in turns 3 and 4
-
Qualifying: You can go below the line
-
Break these rules = penalties
Bottom Line: Stay above the white line for racing, rejoin safely if you don't, and only pass below the line on the final lap in turns 3-4.
Starts / restarts
- The initial race start and all subsequent restarts will take place under green flag conditions.
- Drivers must verbally announce their intention to enter pit road while under green flag racing conditions.
- If a driver drops below the white line marking the racing surface, it is their responsibility to rejoin the racing groove without impeding or making unsafe contact with other competitors. Passing below the white line is prohibited except on the final lap in turns 3 and 4.
- On restarts, no passing is permitted before crossing the start/finish line. Drivers who impede the forward progress of other cars may be subject to protest. Jump starts will be closely monitored and penalized.
- If any cars towards the rear of the field restart in a manner that provides an unfair positional advantage over their competitors, they will receive the black flag penalty. However, any infractions not caught during the race may result in post-race penalties being assessed.
- All restarts will be double-file formation with lapped cars relegated to the rear of the field.
- Any waved around or pit road cars attempting to rejoin the field must slow to the pace of the pack before attempting to pass any other cars.

Cautions
When the caution flag is displayed, all drivers must immediately reduce speed and prepare to catch the pace car in an orderly and safe manner. It is critical that drivers exercise utmost caution and adhere to all rules and procedures during a caution period.
If a driver's vehicle has sustained damage preventing them from maintaining competitive pace and safely blending into the pace car line, they must pit immediately. Please note that during most caution periods, pit lane will be closed. Failure to pit when required during a closed pit situation will result in an end of line penalty being assessed.
Strict compliance with caution procedures is paramount for ensuring the safety of all competitors and officials. Drivers are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and precision at all times.

Pit road
- Drivers are not allowed to drive through more than 3 pit stalls when entering their stall.

Clearing black flags
- NO FLAGES WILL BE CLEARED!
- IRACING WILL CONTROLS THE RACE.
- FOLLOW YOUR PITBOARD.

Intentional wrecking
- If the admins determine that a wreck was caused with undoubtable malicious intent, you will be removed from the server immediately- potentially facing further punishment. No flaming of drivers any way shape form or fashion. Could be removed from the server.

Incidents involving exiting pits
- Drivers entering the track are responsible for doing so in the safest manner possible. If there are clearly no incoming cars, then it is acceptable to rejoin the track directly after the pit exit. However, if cars racing above the exit at the time the pitting car is exiting, it is the exiting drivers job to stay on the apron of the track. If a caution is brought out due to an issue with an exiting car merging onto the track, post race penalties will apply.

Driver etiquette
- Drivers are expected to treat the officials with respect in any interaction. Our officials are here to provide you with the highest quality of administration and anything less than professional treatment will be deemed inappropriate. Disciplinary actions could result in muted race chat, disqualification, or suspension based on frequency and severity of the incident(s). All drivers are required to have a microphone and be able to respond to race control at any time via voice and chat.
Post race rule violation
-Post race penalties will be accessed if you're deemed in violation of rules.
--- A verbal warning may be established before the first violation.
--- First violation -15 point penalty
--- Second violation -25 point penalty
--- Third violation -Disqualification AND SET NEXT LEAGUE RACE OUT
--- Forth violation -Removed from the league.

Protesting
- All decisions from race control are final. There is a protest system. Send info detailing the action of your view to Jonathan Bergeron Facebook messenger. Include with a video clip of the situation. (please no longer than two minutes)
I encourage people to protest if they feel they were wronged, have an issue with another driver, or anything you feel we as a group need to work on, We as a group don’t always see things and try to be the best place to race in the iRacing community.

Post Race Cool down Lap
Drivers should take a 'cool down' lap after receiving the checkered flag in a single file manner with absolutely NO CONTACT with any other car(s). Contact with other cars may lead to point penalties. (brake checking will receive the same sort of penalties.)
Winners are permitted to celebrate.
